two more days :)

I'm never really in the Christmas mood until a couple of days before the big event. I HATE how every year, there's too much Christmas stuff in the shops and on the TV months before its necessary. (I'm not trying to change it, I just don't like it).
But today, even though its been a stressful day, I'm in a better mood about it. I've called up all my family and made final arrangements for the weekend, and now I'm really excited!

I saw the new DVB perfume advert last night and I loved it!

I loved her look, she's wearing a tux and rocking it!
This just means she can pull everything off.

Winter is my favourite season! I love all winter wear: big coats, boots, scarves and gloves.
I love all the prints and colours that come out at this time of year too!
Literally everything makes me excited!

I haven't had a chance to enjoy the snow yet, as I'm sick (as you know if you follow me on twitter).
But I'm looking forward to getting better and getting into the holiday spirit!

News broke this week about Kate Middleton and Prince William's engagement.
Ever since, there has been excitement in Britain and across the world surrounding the possible wedding dates/venues and of course, the dress.

As well as this, the day after the engagement was announced, the Issa dress worn by Kate when making the announcement was sold out.

What are your opinions on the dress and the engagement as a whole??

Finally...

Finally it's Friday which means that I can tell you my big news that I'm really excited about :)
I'm going to new york in a month!
I'm super excited about it. I've only been once before, for just under a week, about three years ago. And I've been craving to go back ever since and finally I can so... yeah, I'm really excited :D

I'm rubbish at blogging...

I've been so bad at blogging lately, been really busy though with work-ish stuff. I've got some new stuff going on that I'm pretty excited about. Its best if you follow my twitter (here) I keep that better updated.

Also I have some pretty exciting news, which I'm probably going to break in about a week or so. MUST stay tuned for that :)

I'm still looking for a more permanent job as well. It's becoming a little bothersome lol.
I'm being very patient. I'll keep you updated on that also. :)

Missoni at MFW

If I could've gone to one show this season, I would have wanted to be at Missoni. 

I love this collection. The bold prints screamed Africa, where the shapes and textures were more of a nod to Mexico. The collection as a whole shows the evolution that has taken place since the last fashion week.

I want about 99% of the collection, so it was hard to narrow down what to show you.

Rosebuds were everywhere in this collection.

New tailoring shapes were the backbone of the collection. 

I love the unfinished hem on the skirt too.

I LOVE this jacket. 

It was also in white, black and silver.

I'm even more gutted this week that I can't be at London Fashion Week.

This gorgeous print was all over the collection.
I can't really decide what it reminds me of yet though.
I especially love the bags with the print on.
They are officially on my wish list!!!

I also love the burnt orange dresses and  playsuits.

NYFW - Preen

Another one of my favourite fashion houses have shown already at NYFW.

Preen, like Thakoon, and elements of Victoria Beckham's collection features explosions of whites and silvers. 

This pale palette is showased in minimalistic designs and cuts but with a little extra. Think pleats (picture 3) and ruffles (2) and interesting apron-like extras on their trouser suits and shift dresses (1 & 6).
