Mini Haul

I stopped off at Boots today to have a look at the new Bourjois Colorissimo lip pallettes. I fully intended to buy them (I even put two in my basket!) but I don't think I'd ever use them. I'm not a fan of the packaging - it reminds me of the sticky cheap lip gloss palettes I had when I was little. I just can't get my head around them. 

So this is what I bought instead (spot my Clinique freebie):  

I should warn you, this haul is Maybelline heavy; it was 3 for 2.

Weirdly, I've haven't tried a BB Cream yet. I've wanted one for ages but been a bit unsure about them. I read a few reviews last night and decided to just go for it. It was only £7.99, so I thought why not!

I've been reading  lot of good things about the Forever Strong Pro nail polishes, so really wanted to try them out. I bought the Hot Salsa because I have nothing like it. I bought Ceramic Blue despite everything I have is like it. :/

The first three items were just replacements/back-ups. 

Popsticks really intrigued me so I bought one to try. I'll probably go back for the orange one at some point.

Then I went into L'Occitane and picked up the Fresh Face Water. It's a toner and make-up remover, but you can use it with other products like make-up remover milks, which I have. The lady also said you can spritz in on over make-up in the day to refresh your skin. 

It says it's 'rich is Shea extract and in floral waters'. It smells so good! 

I've been a bit lazy recently, and have been skipping the toner step (tut tut) so had a gap to fill in my routine.

I'm really excited about using it!

quickie

Hi guys, hows everyone?
Just thought I'd do a quick update and things but I don't really have anything to update you on.
I was going to do a post on what I bought with my House of Fraser vouchers. (my grandma won £50...don't ask me how, I don't really get it) butttt, they you can only use a £10 with every £100 you spend, so obviously I didn't buy anything.
My mood's kind of up and down at the moment, I've been feeling rundown and zero energy for a week now. :(

two more days :)

I'm never really in the Christmas mood until a couple of days before the big event. I HATE how every year, there's too much Christmas stuff in the shops and on the TV months before its necessary. (I'm not trying to change it, I just don't like it).
But today, even though its been a stressful day, I'm in a better mood about it. I've called up all my family and made final arrangements for the weekend, and now I'm really excited!

OMG!

How is it September already?!?!
None of the things on my 'August To Do' list have been sorted out.
Well, apart from one thing, but more about that later. :)

I haven't been a very good blogger recently.
Job hunting, baking and other stuff that I just can't talk about yet have been getting in the way.
So yeah, my mind has been elsewhere.
Although, I managed to do a bit of shopping the other day. Treated myself to some Topshop goodies. A little out of my price range atm, but what the hell.

The rest of the week is going to be full with trying to become a stylist/merchandiser.
Any advice would be much much appriciated. :)

out of touch...

my internet has been messed up for the past week so haven't been able to load up any pics or anything exciting. 

finally managed to get bloglovin' to load up and i have over 500 entries to catch-up on. 

phew! 

lots of reading ahead. 

I've had a really good few days just being at home with my boyfriend.

Did a bit of shopping on Friday. I think it must have been like six weeks since I bought any clothes or anything like that, thanks to boring bills and rent etc.

Anyway, I bought my first ever pair of high-waisted jeans. (I know I'm late on that whole thing but yeah....)

Also, I bought the cutest elephant necklace and a two-finger ring.

I've decided that this week I'm going to get back into baking. 

I really want to try and do some raspberry muffins and green tea cakes.

So I'll post all about how that goes.

I could not be having more problems with the internet than I am today...so, this will just be quick. :)

I woke up really happy today because Vogue UK had come in the post. I was flicking through and got lots of inspiration for the coming season. I am so excited about all the coats, jackets and capes; A-line and full skirts.

I always get really excited about new knitwear as the season changes too. I love gloves, mittens, scarfs and snoods more than any one else I know!

Anyway, over the past few days I've been having a go with my new 'Gimp' software, which is basically Photoshop for the poor. (I mean who wants to fork out £400 plus for software, right?) 

With all this in mind, and with the excitement of Vogue, I've spent a good two hours online window shopping and compiling a wish list of my next-season must-haves :)
