It's my blog's first birthday :D
Sorry about the quality of this photo, but I'm on the way out to work and wanted to get something posted before.
I've got loads of posts coming up in the next two weeks. I've been sooo busy recently (and now ill!) and blogging s been the last thing on my mind. I'm back now though :)

Did everyone have a good holiday? Mine was pretty relaxed. It was nice just to see my family and eat good food.
My New Years Resolutions definitely include to try harder with my blog. I'm not going to go through all the specifics, but I have some big and exciting plans for the coming year. I have some kind of unrealistic ideas, but it's important to always reach for the stars! :)

just got my computer to work again and now the websites being all funny. 

i was gonna do a wish list for my NYC trip, but I figure I'll just buy some stuff and show you what I got tomorrow :)

My wish list either way:

new winterwear (gloves and scarves), 

ASOS cape,

Aviator boots,

camel military coat from H&M

hopefully be able to get all that later and then post pictures tomorrow :D

I'm rubbish at blogging...

I've been so bad at blogging lately, been really busy though with work-ish stuff. I've got some new stuff going on that I'm pretty excited about. Its best if you follow my twitter (here) I keep that better updated.

Also I have some pretty exciting news, which I'm probably going to break in about a week or so. MUST stay tuned for that :)

I'm still looking for a more permanent job as well. It's becoming a little bothersome lol.
I'm being very patient. I'll keep you updated on that also. :)

OMG!

How is it September already?!?!
None of the things on my 'August To Do' list have been sorted out.
Well, apart from one thing, but more about that later. :)

I haven't been a very good blogger recently.
Job hunting, baking and other stuff that I just can't talk about yet have been getting in the way.
So yeah, my mind has been elsewhere.
Although, I managed to do a bit of shopping the other day. Treated myself to some Topshop goodies. A little out of my price range atm, but what the hell.

The rest of the week is going to be full with trying to become a stylist/merchandiser.
Any advice would be much much appriciated. :)

building castles out of snow

I can tell it's been a while since I blogged (well over a week) because when I went to turn my laptop on, there was dust on the keyboard. 

I've been really bad with the whole blogosphere this week because my boyfriend had some time off work, so we've been running around the country doing loads of fun things. 

[hopefully I can get some pictures of all that up soon]

This weekend I had a lot of family get togethers, all for birthdays. There was lots of pub meals and chatter and I got to see some of my cousins that I hadn't seen in a really long time. 

I had so much food though! Gosh! 

On Saturday night, my aunt made a huge meal which started with tapas - cold meats, cheeses, good bread. It was just amazing!

Then we had homemade salsa with spicy chicken and sweet potato. 

And for pudding! OMG! 

We had whole peaches poached in orange juice with amaretti biscuits served with mascarpone cheese, which were amazing!!!

Then chocolate mud pie!

Then birthday cake!

(which is always welcome...ha!)

I have never eaten so much! 

Think that's everything. 

Can you believe it's August already? Golly!
